This judge has been nothing far from prejudice against a pro se litigant and is so obviously corrupt by status and money. He doesn’t even care enough to try and hide it, either - beyond locking the doors of the courtroom to the public during any hearing I’ve had with him. It took 18 months of ongoing litigation between myself (prose after my lawyer left me only 3 mins into first hearing and the judge continued on like nothing happened, leaving me to fight alone and confused) and my daughter’s father (and attorney) for Judge Branstetter to make a final decision in our custody case. Having had full physical custody for almost 12 years already, Branstetter went as far as taking my ex’s shared legal custody away and granting me with sole custody, both physical and legal of our daughter - something I never even asked for, as I wanted everything to remain the same. ALL TO DO A COMPLETE CHANGE UP 3 MONTHS LATER AND STRIP ME OF ALL MY RIGHTS TO MY DAUGHTER DURING A 16 MINUTE EX PARTE HEARING WHILE I WAS HOSPITALIZED FOR A SEVERE STROKE RECRUDESCENCE. SIXTEEN MINUTES WAS ALL IT TOOK TO TAKE MY DAUGHTER AWAY THE NEXT DAY AND NOT GIVE ME A HEARING FOR 10 MONTHS. I am still fighting to even see or speak to my daughter and it’ll be a year in July. meanwhile, he continues to ignore every motion I make, refused to put in a final appeal appropriate order for over 30 days and blocking me from my right to appeal, and continues to sign opposing attorney’s contempt charges against me without any hearing. Legal Knowledge: The knowledge he does have, he does not use it properly. such as knowing I couldn’t appeal his order until it was final, beyond doing an interlocutory appeal asa prose litigant, and dragging out putting his final order for over 30 days. Judicial Temperament: he starts off as seemingly reasonable and patient, all to change up when the corruption starts. Communication: DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE YOU AS A PRO SE LIIGANT, at all. Timeliness: pro se litigants are in for it if they think putting in motions is going to get some sort of response from him
