Bogus CPS case, allowed ex husbands to share a lawyer and conspired with CPS and ex husbands lawyer to remove children without hearing my evidence and terminated my parental rights without notifying me of hearing. Was given court appointed lawyer whom was conspiring and having meetings with other lawyer without my knowledge about my case and would not share information with me. I requested to have court appointed lawyer removed from my case several times due to lawyer refusing to meet with me or have a telephone meeting which was denied. I told the lawyer and Judge I open court that she was not representing me and I would represent myself, which he denied. My address and telephone never changed during the 9 months of hearings and somehow I received no notification of the termination hearing and he granted my ex husband permanent sole custody of my child and granted the motion to move out of state, from Texas to Kentucky on the same day as the termination hearing. He allowed my court appointed lawyer to call me during the proceeding, when she was aware that I was employed and working in Bowling Green to inform me of the hearing and when I replied this is a violation of my rights and asked why she had not notified me she stated that she was just informed the evening before by email. I requested to participate by phone which he denied and when I insisted that she do her job and object to both termination and my ex taking my child out of state, all she said as she was hanging up on me was, “she objects to all actions being taken today” letting me know this had been orchestrated and decided much before the hearing. The court appointed lawyer swiftly sent me an email letting me know the negative outcome of the case and stating she would not help me to file an appeal and had NOW asked to be removed from the case. I tried during the proceedings to find a lawyer to accept my case and none would stating if I were already off to a bad start with Judge Hall, my case was not winnable and they would literally be taking my money for nothing because they couldn’t help me. I attempted lawyers from out of the county that would come to Hardin County but they also declined when they learned Judge Hall was the Judge. The advice most gave was to attempt to have the case reassigned to the other family court judge. I did file a motion requesting Judge Hall recuse himself which he denied. The whole course of the proceedings were pushed through in 9 months with only 3 court hearings, one of which I was not served proper notice. There is very little recourse in family court even when you know the system but when it’s something absolutely foreign to you and you have no one helping you navigate the system it’s impossible. I believe the cases are decided behind closed doors with the judge, lawyers, and CPS and they target people who they believe are easy targets. Before my experience in this sham of a system, I believed if you were in jail, it was because you did something wrong, if you had your children removed then you must have been a terrible parent etc but this completely opened my eyes to how corrupt the whole justice system is but especially family court. Legal Knowledge: He may be very knowledgeable, I wouldn’t know as he didn’t follow any of the rules of the court in my case. Fairness & Impartiality: He is extremely biased, disrespectful, accuses people of horrendous things in open court and makes no attempt to hide his opinion or bias Judicial Temperament: Unprofessional, easily angered, raises his voice, curses, and threatens (that you don’t want to put him in a bad mood) defendants in open court. Will not allow defendants to speak at all in court and states things like “your only making things worse for yourself” when you attempt to assert your rights Communication: His ruling is decided before the hearing and is so disrespectful to defendants. I’ve heard him referring to defendants as meth heads, drunks etc in open court. Granted, I did not know the background of those cases, I went as an observer after my awful experience, however calling defendants horrible things in court is definitely not clear or helpful communication Timeliness: I have seen other reviewers state he pushed out cases however in my case it seemed as if he couldn’t push it through any faster.

Family Court Fairness & Impartiality: Doesn’t hear the evidence only wants to have mediation between parties acts like he is scared to make a decision afraid appeals court. would overrule him. My ex filed false epo’s twice never showed up for court for either one and kept my child away from me. Never wants to hear any evidence just wants the parties to come together if that was the case we wouldn’t be in court. I had my ex bring in a friend to do supervised visits and turns out they lied in court was charged with sexual offense after getting a plea deal in another county from rape 3. Had sheriff’s office to get my child away from my ex saying she isn’t safe and that she seems to have some kind of mental illness. Have multiple cps reports that say she needs to be examined to make sure she can care for her and the child. My ex was told to have her financial statements and never provided them like it doesn’t matter. Judicial Temperament: Gets angry at both parties even if it’s one part that is in the wrong. Communication: Tells the parties that they done have a strong case when he won’t look at the evidence more than a minute. one hearing said it was a felony then the next like it needs to be brushed under the rug like it is no big deal. Timeliness: Let’s attorneys waste time not being in control of the court room making a mockery of the system. Has waisted so much time trying to get us to make a decision that it has costed tens of thousands of dollars with absolutely no results. If you can’t count on a judge to make a decision based on the information provided to them what’s the point of having them on the bench?

he was EXTREMELY rude and was telling story’s about him and his father, and him and his son to the defendant. I had video proof of this man threatening to unalive me and my family, police reports, no trespassing orders, AND work surveillance footage of him at mine and my children’s jobs that are and hour one way drive from his home and town and Judge hall didn’t care or let us show ANY evidence or really talk at all! Judicial Temperament: very rude and EXTREMELY hot headed!

very fair and old school, doesnt seem biased, gives the kiddos gift cards and prizes. he is a sweet heart and a good judge

family court for custody where father resides out of state Fairness & Impartiality: took on a case where he knew the parents of a litigant but never stated until years later in another hearing
